Macros

XWiki supports two types of Macros:

  • Radeox macros: A Radeox macro is a keyword surrounded by curly braces. For example: {something:param1=value1|param2=value2}
  • Velocity macros: A Velocity Macro is a keyword prefixed by a pound symbol followed by parenthesis. For example: #somemacro(param1, param2, ...)
Both types of macro types can be passed parameters.

The definition of a macro is confusing. It says a macro is a keyword surrounded by curly braces, which is true for the code macro. But according to this list, a macro is also a keyword prefixed by a pound symbol, and followed by a set of parenthesis surrounding one or more variables. This should be clarified.
