This is the place where you'll find code you can use to augment your wiki's features or simply to learn how to program various features in XWiki.

Latest Code Snippets Latest Macros
A code snippet is simply a portion of code that you can paste in a page.

A macro is keyword surrounded by curly braces that you can put in a page to produce some behavior. It can also be passed parameters.

Latest Plugins Latest Applications
A plugin consists in Java classes installed in your Servlet container.

An Application is a set of documents packaged together. Applications can be installed using the Import wizard.

Latest Skins Latest Extensions
A skin provides a look&feel for everything you see in the wiki.

An extension is an application that integrates or interacts with XWiki.

It would be VERY useful if the entries on the pages in the Code Zone would list the last update date for the various snippets, macros, etc.

BTW the items are sorted by last creation date right now on this page (and not by last updated date).

I visit the page to look for new and updated items now and then, and a date would make it a lot quicker to see what's new. Another solution would of course be to show a "Recent Pages Changed" list on the bottom of this page, like on http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/News
